It's so interesting to tweet at an event and see the topic start to trend as a top ten topic because so many people are tweeting about the same thing. I especially enjoyed using hashtags at Blogworld in certain sessions where a particular class discussion would take a top ten position. Additionally, hashtags have served great purpose at Maria Shriver's Women's Conference, during Hack the Debate and Motrin Moms. It's also fun to create hashtags for events when none have been developed. I've done that on several occasions. I bet this is one thing we'll see change or even go away during 2009 as Twitter matures. What do you think Anita?

Thanks for a great new blog!
